Today I went to Oxford to see Renee and Hannah. We started off with a walking tour of the city. My camera decided to completly quit on me, so I only have a few shots. This is Exeter college where JR Tolken studied.
This is the cloisters of the New College, just as notable but perhaps not as intellectual, Hugh Grant and Cate Beckensell studied here. This square is one of the locations where they filmed a bit of Harry Potter. More specifically, Malfoy is turned into a farrett under this tree in Goblet of Fire....cool!
After the tour we went to this pub. C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolken used to come here in their time.
We met up with a few friends of Renee - Harjot and Lucy and got some dinner and just sat around and had a really fun time chatting. A good group of people can be all the entertainment you need sometimes. Such a great night.
