Cliffs of Moher

The most amazing of the sights near Doolin are these cliffs. They reminded me of the Cliffs of Insanity from the Princess Bride. Very impressive. Again, Mattie (the owner of the hostel) gave us the inside tips on these cliffs. If we were to go to the "tourist" part of the cliffs we would have had to pay 8 euro to park and 5 euro each to see the cliffs. Knowing that we are poor travelers he told us the better way. He told us to park down the hill and cross this big cow field and there was a trail along the cliffs. No fence though, so we were pretty careful. We got an amazing view of the cliffs from here.
So this piece was pretty scary. Right there were I am standing I could look over the edge about 600 feet to the rocky shore below. I didn't do that there, just 30 seconds for the picture and that was all. It was pretty freaky

A look over the edge is necessary though....mom this one is just to freak you out a little. Hard to see it, but the beach is WAY down there. No fatalities among our group thankfully.
