New Years Day (after lots of laying around) we headed to Windsor. Here we are on the mall leading to the Castle. A mall over here I found out is just a long stretch of land. (which helped me understand the mall in DC....good to know)
You can kind of see the castle there in the background, but I was a little more excited about my new red patton leather Harrods bag - so cute!
We saw these classic mail boxes and Lauren was going to take a pic for us, but then this foerign guy was waiting to take a picture of them too and he offered to take a picture for us. When we were done he kept motioning for us to do something ( he didn't speak any english) so we assumed he wanted us to move infront of them or something??? - so anyway now we have two mail box shots. Whatever.....
Here is the gate to Windsor castle, we didn't go it, but walking around the perimiter we got a good idea of how majestic it is.
Then we just walked a little down the high street and looked at some of the shops. It got really cold then so we just headed to a pub and sat there for literally two hours chatting. I don't think I could ever get sick of talking to Charlie and Lauren, so fun! The night was topped off with some great Thai food! Great way to bring in the new year.
